8 Signs That Your Body Is Crying for Help

Our body is a perfect mechanism where many things happen at the same time. And sometimes it gives us signs that it needs help which, if ignored, can lead to health problems.

Ourtrending would like to tell you about some signs that you should always take note of.

8. Rings around the irises

These white rings around the coloured part of the eye can appear in people over 50 years of age, which is quite common. If this appears in a much younger person, it may mean that the person has high cholesterol, and it is a build-up of fat as reported in Femme Actuelle magazine. If this happens, you will need to see a doctor.

7. Brittle Nails

Nails can become more brittle with age and this happens most often in women. But age is not the only cause. Long-term use of nail polish containing chemicals can damage your nails. So try to do without them or use an organic product without chemicals.

Brittle nails can also be the result of a hormonal imbalance, or a lack of vitamins B and C, and minerals such as zinc and iron.

6. Brittle hair

Using heated appliances, such as hair dryers or straightening irons, can dry out your hair. Excessive and aggressive brushing can also weaken it.

Using chemically-filled hair dyes can give you the colour you want or cover gray hair, but these products can weaken your hair and make it dry and brittle. So, if you can, try to go for natural dyes.

5. Bleeding gums

If your gums start bleeding suddenly and constantly when you brush your teeth, it probably means that you are deficient in vitamin C. Just try eating more citrus fruits, spinach, green and red peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, after consulting your dentist of course.

4. Bloating

Eating too quickly can cause bloating after finishing a meal. That’s why you should simply eat more slowly.

Eating a high-fat diet can also cause bloating because it takes a little longer to digest. It is therefore advisable to limit the weekly amount of high-fat foods and especially to favour the good fats that are beneficial to health.

You may also have a food intolerance that causes your stomach to swell every time you eat a particular food. If you’re not sure which food it is, consult a specialist who will be able to guide you.

3. Cravings
