There isn’t a single person on Earth who hasn’t ever struggled with cracks on their feet.
While in the summer, our feet get naturally rubbed and the dead skin is lost while we walk on the tiny sand stones, in winter however, cracks can be a real problem, because the skin also gets dryer during winter time.
The reason for dry and flaky, cracked feet is the fact that the skin on the feet doesn’t have oil glands – unlike all the other parts from the body.
Our feet have plenty, even more sweat glands from the other body parts, but this is some times not enough to keep our feet well moisturized.
In today’s article, we are presenting to you few basic home remedies for cracked feet. Just relax yourself in the chilly evening, read a book or watch a movie and make a foot massage with these remedies.
LEMON JUICE
The high acid that the lemons contain help in dissolving the dead, cracked skin on the feet. You should soak the feet in lemon juice for 15 minutes so the dead skin gets softer and scrub it afterwards. Peace of cake!
VASELINE
The immense oily cream made out of petroleum jelly is just the right thing for cracked feet! Massage it gently on your feet and for the best possible effect, put on cotton socks right after and go to bed. Rinse your feet in the morning and repeat the procedure every night before going to bed.
SUGAR SCRUB
You can make your own DIY homemade exfoliating scrub, mixing equal parts of olive oil and brown sugar. Massage yourself with the scrub, focusing on the roughest parts of your feet the most. Rinse the scrub off after half an hour and be amazed by the touch of your skin!
